PERFECTION
PERFECT HORSE is a 15.1 50/50 black/white tobiano
registered Tennessee Walking Horse. She is naturally gaited, with or
without shoes, and she has the quiet, unflappable temperament that we
enjoy in all of our horses. You may have noticed from the picture
that Perfect is being ridden with a pair of rope reins clipped
to her halter. No bridle and no bit. She will go nicely in a snaffle,
as well. Mostly, if you keep your hands out of her mouth and just
signal which direction you wish to go, she will comply.
She is superb on the trail and crosses water without even taking a deep
breath. She does not jump water; she just walks into it and across it.
And then, it is a smooth ride all the way.
When it is time to come in from the paddock at night, Perfect will not
rush the gate. She will stand and wait for the signal that it is okay
to go to the barn. She has a great deal of common sense and confidence.
Perfect has the nicest little ears we have seen in a long time, second only
to those of our Arabian mare, Cameo Windchime. She
also has lovely withers and good depth of bone. She has a ground-covering
running walk that keeps our Arabs trotting and cantering to keep
up, but they do. In terms of pedigree, Perfect has several
crosses to a TWH champion of yesteryear, PIDDLEY and to RODGERS'
PERFECTION, a national champion sire of national champion TWH sires.
