MI HALLELUJAH
MI
Hallelujah was born in 1985. She was the daughter of a very
famous, beautiful chestnut pinto stallion named Key Largo, who
excited many people who loved to watch high stepping, beautiful
saddle horses. Hallelujah grew up to be a beautiful liver chestnut/white
15.3-hand pinto champion. When we bought her, because we looked
forward to her having a beautiful Arabian looking baby, we bred
her to a stallion who also was a son of Key Largo. Halle brought
us a lot of joy as she happily enjoyed her quiet life in a paddock
under our blue, blue Geauga skies.
In the very early hours of May 17, 1999, as
Hallelujah tried to deliver what we knew would be a special
baby that we had planned to name Keys Hurrah, the delivery went
terribly wrong. Despite the heroic efforts of Dr. Novak to save
them, Hallelujah and Keys Hurrah went over the Rainbow Bridge
and were soon at peace. We love them and remember them with
fondness, especially as we wait for the gentle breezes of Spring
to return.
